  6. Night Math Attack is a game for kids to practice all 4 math ops (+,-,x,
  7. /) created with help from an educational consultant for use in local schools.
  8.  The program has up-beat music, quality graphics, and no requirement for
  9. fast hand control.  Following the title screen and instructions, the player
  10. chooses which math operation of practice.  The game screen has a question
  11. at the top, 4 answers down the left side, a helicopter in the middle, and
  12. a choice of sound on/off at the bottom. The player uses the joystick or
  13. cursor keys to fly the chopper up or down so it is level with the correct
  14. answer, and then uses the joystick or space bar to fire a missile at the
  15. answer.  A message then reports whether the choice was right or wrong.
  16.  The "wrong" messages are followed by the question with the correct answer
  17. to reinforce learning. Wrong choices are generated randomly so that students
  18. will not become used to the same choices after repeated plays.  After 20
  19. questions a "report card" gives the accuracy rate.  There is a print-out
  20. option which prints wrong questions and out-of-time questions for further
  21. study, which requires the printer driver to be in the devs directory of
  22. the system boot disk.  NMA works on all systems tested so far:  the A500,
  23. A2000, A3000, & A4000.

  25. At the end of Night Math Attack there's a shareware screen offering the
  26. sister game Spell Chopper for $5.00 incl shipping, so users effectively
  27. get the pair for $5.00.  It has the same gameplay, except the missiles
  28. shoot at the correctly spelled word.  Users can choose lists from grades
  29. 1-6.  ShareWorld issue 3 gave NMA a decent review.
